I used the assorted packages of cardstock to create my Flash Cards. It’s SO easy this way!
The Brights, Subtles, Neutrals, or Regals packages contain (2) of each color, (20) 8 ½” x 11″ sheets total. The In-Color packages contain (4) of each color, (20) sheets total.

Whether you use the Flash Cards pieces as Flash Cards OR just use them for layering or punching. Having these pieces cut and ready to go will save you SO much time!

Just in case you haven’t seen the new colors that are starting June 1st, let me show you!
Some colors are moving to a new color family. Here is how our colors will be presented from here on out. What’s your favorite? I think the Brights are the ones that speak to me the most but those new Subtles are awfully pretty!
Notice that there is a new category – BASICS. This contains Whisper White, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black. I highly recommend that you create plenty of card bases in these colors too.
The computer is fixed and I couldn’t be happier!!! How did Mr. Awesome fix it? He messed with it and something he did worked. Isn’t that just how it goes? Of course, this has us both a little worried as to whether it will happen again.
Now that I have my computer back, I can share with you a highlight from Memorial Day Weekend.
I think this photo is my favorite picture ever!
Christina has had an obsession with bouncy houses forever. She LOVES them but we’ve never rented one. What college graduate wouldn’t LOVE a bouncy house for their graduation party? Christina, that’s who. So, we surprised her and about an hour before the party, this fabulous bouncy house was delivered and set up. She was SO excited, I mean EXCITED. This photo makes me so happy.
We all had a great time bouncing around. I learned quickly that after birthing 2 children, bouncy houses and my bladder don’t play nice together. lol
I don’t have a photo of the funniest moment of the night (and when you hear the story, you’ll know why).
I was bouncing with Ginny, Christina, her friend Carson, and our little great niece. I lost my balance, which is pretty easy to do in a bouncy house, and I fell backwards on the net you see in the photo. Well, my butt went down… and so did the back of the house. I hit it just right and I was, butt on the ground, folded in half. I was like a turtle stuck on her back. Christina and Carson had to pull me out of this bad predicament. We laughed so hard and for so long that my little great niece didn’t know what to do so she threw herself down on the floor and laughed right along with us.
Best money I have ever spent and a great way to celebrate Christina’s quirky personality.
I truly hope you found today’s Flash Card video helpful. I know you’re excited to order the new cardstock and you CAN starting Friday, June 1st. You are going to love the new colors, my friends. They are simply gorgeous!!! So be sure to add these to your wish list!

Congratulations to Christina on her graduation! I get a laugh outloud with the funny things you say and do. Thank You so much, love your upbeat attitude as well as the appreciation you show for your husband. You are indeed blessed!
Hello Connie, First congratulations Cristina on her graduation! My grandson just graduated from preschool lol anyway Thank you for making it so easy for us to be creative. As I am going to be retiring in November I will have lots of time to craft and make cards.
Thank you so much Connie, You are such an inspiration and please know you are greatly appreciated!
Thank you Connie for all your tips, I have always loved the flash cards and this quick tip helps a lot. Especially if you don’t have time to cut a lot of colors with the other patterns. Your tips and ideas are always so helpful. The patterns and downloads are a blessing and time saver. Love your ideas. I would have loved to buy all your ready made flash card kits, but I use my extra money to buy stamp sets, and just cut a few flash cards at a time. Thanks for all your help. Congrats to Christina. Have a wonderful day.
Connie, thank you so much for this post and video. I was trying to figure out the best way to cut card stock to make as many cards as possible from a limited paper supply. You have done all the “hard work” for me and It is very much appreciated.
Hats off to you for all the time and effort you put into the projects, tips, blogs, videos… all of it! You are an inspiration. Thank you again.
Blessings from another Stewart.
