We didn’t have a white Christmas in Oklahoma City but a white New Year! We rarely see snow here but over the last couple days, it’s been a winter wonderland. I thought I would share a little bit of it with you.
We got about 6 inches of snow here at our house. The dogs had a ball playing in it too. Me? I stayed inside with a pot of hot tea, some show tunes on Apple Music, and a puzzle. Ginny and I have really gotten into puzzles lately. The only struggle is trying to sleep at night. You start to see those pieces in your sleep!
I hope your new year has started off as nice as ours did!
Thank you so much for joining me today! Did you enjoy the card? Keep in mind, it can be made with just about any Designer Series Paper but I thought the butterflies in the Needlepoint Nook were so pretty and the Night of Navy and Balmy Blue were so striking together.
I am really excited to begin this new series on Saturdays and I am hoping you feel the same way. The cards are going to be easy to recreate and have been designed to be quick too.
Make it a great weekend my stampin’ peeps! Go be amazing today!

Thanks Connie… love this card and while both are lovely, I think the Night of Navy provides more pop…
Wow you had snow? I am 50 mi north of NYC and we did not have snow for either Christmas or New Year’s… I am not complaining though because I am sure we will be getting it soon… we did have one snow storm in November which was quite unexpected.
Love these card, simple yet lovely. May I CASE them? I thoroughly enjoy all your videos series and looking forward to more of the #simplestamping series. Leslie Markland

Karen, I just checked and I had the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs sent to you. Check your email, I sent you some information about it on January 3rd. You’re going to love it!
Your old retired sister would love a puzzle date! I’ll even bring you a slice of retirement cake from Ingrid’s Café! Yum! ps: love the color choices on this card!
Your cards are beautiful as always. Night of Navy is a favorite color off mine, but both cards are lovely. I really enjoyed your snowfall video. Lots of NC has seen snowfall, but we have only seen rain where I am, lots and lots and lots of rain. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty card. Love the simplicity and ease of making it but oh, so pretty! My fave is Night if Navy as it seemed to pop more (surprising since I love blue).
Love your new series…but then I have enjoyed each of your series. I like the light blue one best, I think the butterflies show up better all through N of N is one of my favorite colors. No snow on the Central Coast of CA. We did get down to 28 deg at night a few days.
Brrrr. Have a most blessed New Year and looking forward to your next set of series.
Happy New Year to you too Kathy!! I agree–Night of Navy is a great color. I hope it’s warmed up a bit in CA!! Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment too. 🙂

What a cute card…that DSP is so pretty. I think the navy makes it stand out more but the BB is soothing and sweet. Loving the Sat series. TFS.
