I’m excited to announce a brand new feature for December here at Simply Simple Stamping! I call it the Double Feature. What is it? Whenever possible I will share with you a Christmas card or project but will also create a ‘non-Christmas’ version. This will allow you to use the idea even if you have completed your Christmas projects for this holiday season. Are you excited? I hope so! I am looking forward to create DOUBLE the fun in December!
For today’s Make It Monday, I have 2 cards that are the same but totally different themes. My first card is a baby card. We all need those on hand, right?
You can create this sweet baby card OR…
…why not create it as a Christmas card, like this one.
I thought the baby card turned out so nice. Do you like it? I had a chance to play with my Stampin’ Blends and I gotta say, they are quite amazing!
My Christmas card was created with the stamp set from November’s Paper Pumpkin kit but you probably have lots of Christmas sentiments you can use. It’s the Winter Wonderland embossing folder that makes this one a WOW!
Now it’s YOUR turn to create! Want to work off your mobile device? Just take it to your stamp space and work from here.
Would you rather save the document to your computer?
Download the free TWINKLE TWINKLE card tutorial HERE
Can I make a recommendation? Create a file in your “Documents” on your computer and call it MAKE IT MONDAY so you can always find the downloads whenever you need them. Or, you can always search the Categories (right side bar) and click on Make It Monday. You will see all of them in one place.
Here’s what you’ll need to create the TWINKLE TWINKLE card. Use what you have, order what you need. Just click a pic!
*Also available in Wood Mount
Here’s what you’ll need to create the LET IT SNOW card (but remember, use your favorite Christmas sentiment). Use what you have, order what you need. Just click a pic!
For those of you who join me on Facebook Live, you heard Ginny sing and talk about her audition for “Bye Bye Birdie” at her high school.
I am SO excited to share that the cast list went up on Friday after school and my sweet girl landed the lead! Ginny will be playing the swooning teenager, Kim MacAfee, the lucky girl whom Conrad Birdie (think Elvis) will bestow his final kiss upon before leaving for the Army. Ginny loves theatre so much and she has wanted to play the role of Kim forever. We went out to celebrate. Yes, ice cream was necessary.
“Bye Bye Birdie” has great music and takes place in the 1950’s. Ginny is a lot like me and a true retro girl so this show is right up her alley. Yep, a proud moment for this Mom for sure!
Use the DECEMBER HOST CODE X3AMDUHN on your order of $30* or more and I will include a Holiday Treat in your thank you card! It’s kinda like getting something fun from Santa only from me and all for using that Host Code. What a sweet deal!
Remember, if your order is over $150.00*, DON’T use the Host Code and earn Stampin’ Rewards (Rewards start at $15) plus you’ll also receive the free gift from me! See? I know you love free!
*Before Tax & Shipping – One Holiday Treat per person
Congratulations to Jinny, I also had a part in our play Bye Bye Birdie in high school. (won’t say how long ago that was.) but it is a memory I think of often and very fondly of. Grat play break a leg Jinny
Congratulations to Ginny. I love the movie version with Dick Van Dyke. And thanks for the great Double Feature ideas!
Love the cards. Thank you for double the fun for “Make it Monday”.
Congratulations to Ginny! Wow, that is a fantastic achievement. I know your excitement too, proud Momma. Wish I lived in Oaklahoma, i would attend the show. I love the stage.
Sweet Card…..Love it…
Also very well done to your daughter…..One proud mum moment…….
Congratulations Ginny! Knock ‘me dead! Connie love the double the fun!
Wondered about stamping the baby BEFORE using embossing folder–I know it would be challenging to stamp on an already embossed piece, but wanted to make sure I didn’t end up with a STAR (looking like a scar, a la’ Harry Potter) on the baby’s forehead. Congrats to Ginny–love that show and the music!
That is wonderful about Ginny getting the part she wanted. I was in dramatics in high school, I loved every moment of being in plays. So I understand how excited she is. And you are always such a proud mother of your children. I love reading your stories and I love your Stampin up videos.
Have a great day, I am going to my card room and get productive.
Oh congratulations Ginny!
Love your new feature for December ~ double cards.
Hope you had a good day.

Congratulations to Ginny! Also sweet baby card and easy wow Xmas card.
