How did it get to be Monday already?  That weekend went fast, huh!  Even though Monday isn’t everyone’s favorite, Make It Monday is always a favorite day here at Simply Simple Stamping.  Free tutorial!!!  Today’s card is called “You Matter” and I am featuring a stamp set called Bunch of Blossoms and a gorgeous tone-on-tone embossing technique.

Can you see the really cool background on this card?  I embossed it with the Marbled Background stamp. I  wish you could see it in person.  It’s so pretty!

I used the Bunch of Blossom stamp set and matching punch.  This stamp set is so easy to use and I love the look.

Ginny survived Kristin Chenoweth’s BROADWAY BOOTCAMP!  Whew!  What a great week she had learning the ins and outs of the musical theatre world.

Bootcamp started on Sunday night and ran straight through until Saturday night.  It was intense, really intense.  She had some days that were 14 hours long, some were 10 hours long.  Poor girl is totally wiped out but her head is about to explode with knowledge!

Saturday night was their finale concert and let me tell you what, it was AMAZING!  Ginny had a solo in song called “Disneyland” and she was SO good.  I am going to try to get the video and share it, if I can.  Copyright keeps me from doing this so I need to check to see if I can share it.  Their closing number was the show stopping song “One” from “A Chorus Line” – gold glittery hats and all!  It was choreographed by Baayork Lee, one of the original cast members of the show.  Is that cool or what?

While Ginny was at Bootcamp, Christina and I shopped, then shopped some more.  Broken Arrow/Tulsa has lots of fun antique shops so we found a lot to keep ourselves busy.

Mr. Awesome came up to join us on Thursday and stayed through the weekend.  The three of us rented eBikes and rode around the city’s Riverwalk.  I have fallen in LOVE with these eBikes and I’m begging Rich to get me one.  You still peddle but there is a little motor that gives you a little boost if you need it.  SO cool!  GUYS!  I NEED THIS BIKE IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!  I think my husband will call this past week the most expensive week in history.  lol

I am so happy to be home.  You know how it is when you’ve been on vacation.  Coming home is the best part.  Besides, the day I left, my Stampin’ Up order came so I have new stamps and Framelits who are ready to play!

 I hope that everyone had a nice weekend and were able to celebrate Father’s Day.  I know there are some out there like me who’s Dads are no longer here so this holiday can be a hard one.  I hope that the day gave you some great memories like it did for me.  My Dad was the BEST and I miss him everyday but it was a nice day to reflect on what an influence he was in my life.
