Yesterday in my 2-Minute Tuesday Tip post, I shared a card with you and promised a video on how I created it. Well, as I was preparing my video, it dawned on me I could make it simpler and still have a great WOW factor. The more I worked on it, I more I realized it would make a great NOW or WOW card!
The card is really sweet as a NOW card but if you have a few extra minutes, why not make it a WOW card?

Carrots are NOT good for you! I repeat… CARROTS ARE EVIL!
I was cleaning and peeling carrots yesterday, you know, trying to be healthy and all. While cutting a naughty little carrot, it decided to roll over and the knife didn’t like that idea so it cut my thumb instead. Not just a little minor cut, but a “Hmm, should I go to the ER?” kind of cut.
I was in so much pain I couldn’t even look at it to see how deep it was. After much debate with myself, I decided that it wasn’t bad enough to warrant a trip to Urgent Care. Mr. Awesome picked up some liquid bandage (Super glue meets nail polish) and I think I will live. As for the carrots, well, I will resist throwing them against the wall and save them and let Mr. Awesome have a go at them. Not sure I can ever eat them again I’m so frustrated.
Let’s hope this doesn’t interfere with my stamping! It’s reeking havoc on my ability to type. 😡

Connie, I love the NOW and the WOW cards. Both are very pretty and quick. Love your hair cut but sorry about your cut thumb. I hope it heals quickly and you aren’t hampered in making cards. Take care and enjoy your day!

So many great techniques in one adorable card, Thank you Connie! Sorry about the naughty carrot! I have learned to hold the carrot steady while I gently dig the knife in just a little. Then I move my hand away. But every once in a while, the carrot wins.
