Christmas Crackers are a Christmas craft that is fun- they make great gifts, stocking stuffers, and party favors so today I’ve got you covered with a One Sheet Wonder Christmas Crackers | Stocking Stuffer Idea.
Did the stocking stuffers sneak up on you?
I have you covered. You’re welcome.
One Sheet Wonder Christmas Crackers | Stocking Stuffer Idea
We all know, of course, that Santa fills the stockings BUT that doesn’t mean that we can’t add a little more to them, right? We want those stockings filled to the brim and today’s project is PERFECT to have peeking out of the top of the stocking. Aren’t these Christmas Crackers festive?
What I love most about this project is that it creates two AND they are made with just ONE sheet of 8 ½” x 11″ cardstock!
Let me share today’s video: One Sheet Wonder Christmas Crackers | Stocking Stuffer Idea
I did make a mistake in the video on the measurement of the Designer Series Paper – it should read ⅞” x 4 ¼” (sorry, should have had more coffee before filming).
Here are the measurements to make 2 Christmas Crackers:
- Cherry Cobbler – 8 ½” x 11″
- Very Vanilla – ⅜” x 4 ¼”
- Designer Paper – (8) ⅞” x 4 ¼”
- Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon – (2) 10″-12″
- Candy
Here are the supplies you need to create these sweet Christmas Crackers. Order what you need by clicking a pic!
I hope you enjoyed today’s video and I hope I helped solve the ‘What to put in the stocking’ dilemma. I know how much you guys LOVE One Sheet Wonders and this one is so quick and easy to create too.
Give these Christmas Crackers a try this weekend, won’t you? They are just perfect to stuff in a stocking or share with friends.

I made these a couple of years ago from one of your postings. They were pretty, easy to do from Christmas DSP, but . . my grandchildren were disappointed that they did not snap. Apparently I could have gotten the snappers at Michael’s. Haven’t made them since, but perhaps one day I will.
I am so sorry your grandkids were disappointed. I guess I never knew that they made these where they would snap or make noise. Do mean like little firecracker?
Great cracker design, I tried it myself today and found that the DSP measurement is 7/8×6 was a bit too long. Did you mean to say 7/8×4 instead? Thanks
Judite, you are absolutely correct, I did have the wrong measurement listed. It should be ⅞” x 4 ¼”. I have fixed the blog post. Thank you so much for letting me know about this error. I was cutting on a piece of 6″ x 6″ and so 6″ must have been in my head.
Connie is it possible to make the cracker without cutting the cardstock in half. I need to make on so a pencil will fit inside. Was going to make 24 for my granddaughters party at school and the treats include a pencil. If possible could you send me the measurements. Thanks so much, I just love all your videos and your Tuesday tips. Brenda Scuccimarri
My measurements would be going the opposite direction. You would need to score everything differently. You might try this link from my dear friend Leonie. http://www.stamp-a-latte.com/santas-workshop-class/. Hope this works for you!
Hi Connie. I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. I love this cracker and the fact that I can get two from one piece of 8 1/2 x 11” paper is excellent, especially since we have one more “Christmas” to celebrate next week.
You stated on your video that the measurements would be on your blog post. I don’t see them and I’ve checked twice. I will watch the video again and make notes but just wondering if I’d missed something.
Hi Valerie! Yes, the measurements are listed just below the video. There is a blue icon that says “Measurements for today’s project”. Hope that helps!
Hi Connie, I made these for family Christmas lunch and dinner and put in a little gift for each person as well as a balloon and m&m’s. Everyone loved them. However over the weekend my granddaughter (6) came over and we made some for her mothers birthday this week. So thankyou so much for sharing. Lexie from Australia
I’m so happy to hear these worked for you on more than one occasion 🙂
