I woke up today and thought…’Quick card making with Enjoy Life stamp set’ would be the perfect match!
When I made this card, my jaw fell on the desk. It was SO pretty but it literally took minutes to create. If you have never tried a watercolor wash with rubbing alcohol, you absolutely must give it a try. It’s such a simple stamping technique! Working with alcohol in the aqua painter is so much easier than working with water; the look alcohol gives is so soft and pretty.
Everyone can be encouraged by a lovely handmade card! Who are you going to make and send to this week?
Video: Quick Card Making with Enjoy Life Stamp Set
The most time consuming part of this card is waiting for the alcohol to dry and that goes really fast!
Some quick stamping on the inside too!
- Blackberry Bliss – 11″ x 4 ¼”, scored and folded at 5 ½”
- Whisper White – (2) 3 ¾” x 5″
Can you believe how easy this Quick Card Making with Enjoy Life Stamp Set went together? And check out the short and sweet supply list?! Wow! To add any of the items you need to create the card, just click a pic!
Well, our trip to Salt Lake City has come to an end and Rich and I are flying home now. I can’t even put into words how AMAZING this trip was! Visiting with the Stampin’ Up staff, sharing not just my thoughts but the things YOU have shared with me as well, was truly enjoyable. They care about YOU, the customers, as much as they care about us, the demonstrators. I was showered with so much love and care.
We had an amazing meal at an Indian restaurant (yum) with a couple of the corporate team and their spouses Tuesday, then sushi with Sara and Shelli and their hubsters, Sean and Sterling last night. These are the most genuine, kind, and loving people I know. I could hardly sleep last night!
I’ll treasure this time I had for a long, long time. I’m wishing I could share photos but Mr. Awesome and I were so caught in the moment we didn’t take many. The photographer at Stampin’ Up took a lot and will send them to me so I will share when I can.
I really don’t think I need this plane to take me home… I could fly home on this ‘high’ I’m on right now!
I hope that today’s card inspired you. Get out those Aqua Painters, go to the medicine cabinet and find the rubbing alcohol, and get to creating these beautiful watercolor washes. You will be addicted! Best of all, when you send these cards, your friends and family will be SO impressed by your art but we won’t tell them that you made it in minutes. We’ll keep that between us, okay?
Make it a great day my friends! Be awesome and change someone’s day by sending them a card. It will be the best $0.51 you ever spent!

Thanks Debbie, so glad you enjoyed this card!!
Hi Connie, Love this card so much, Just a quick question does it matter what kind of alcohol that you use? Meaning the % of alcohol? I am trying to case this card but my ink is not moving very well. Congratulations on reaching the Million dollar sales mark!
Janet, either the 70% or 91%, it doesn’t matter. I would suggest that you squeeze a little more alcohol out of the Aqua Painter and see if that helps move around the ink better.
Finding people like you are my reason for getting lost on Pinterest! You are a gem!

I found this on Pinterest and I’m all about fast and easy cards! I don’t have the aqua painter so I’m going to try to mist the rubbing alcohol on the block instead and then use a paintbrush. It’s all about making do with what you have! The card is beautiful so I have to give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration.
