Today I want to share how to make thank you cards as a response to condolences. “Let me know if there is anything I can do” – a phrase we all have said to someone who is grieving. In today’s video I want to show you something you CAN do – give the gift of hand stamped thank you cards as a response to condolences.
The Stampin’ Up! Kindness & Compassion stamp set is perfect. Beautiful sentiments the recipient can send to those who have delivered food, flowers, and even just thanking those who were there in their time of need.
I have three different response to condolences cards to share with you. The layout is the same but I used up some Designer Series Paper that needed a little love.

Love the sentiment and had wondered the best way to use it. Thanks for your idea of a gift and for your different designs. Enjoy your weekend.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed this Hilda! Have a fabulous weekend yourself!!
The Sympathy card grouping to give to someone who is grieving is absolutely perfect. I will me ordering that stamp set and making some, just to have on hand. In the past 3 months, I could have used these twice. As we age, we loose our friends or family. Thank you so much for the wonderful card idea.
I’m so sorry you’ve had need for these so frequently lately. What you say is true and it’s a tough part of life for certain. I know your cards will be helpful and a source of comfort to family and friends though.
This is a really great idea. However, do you have any suggestions for smaller cards? I was at a funeral on Thursday that had several hundred people attending. I would almost say boxed set of cards would be better in this case. Thoughts?
Sure, Lavonne! You could make these same designs using our notecards and just scale down the papers and die cuts to fit. These note cards are 5″ X 3 1/2″
What a very thoughtful idea. Would be great in the folder that you made. Enjoy your week end camping.
Yes, they’d be perfect for that! Enjoy!!
Thank you. We buried my mother in law today and these will be perfect
Patti, I’m so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your family. Take special care of yourself and know that many are thinking about you and lifting you up in this time of sorrow. Hugs to you!!
Great idea Connie! Thank you for this post.
You’re welcome Janeen! Thanks for reading and taking time to comment! Have a great day!!
