Shimmer Paint Technique #4: 2-Minute Tuesday Tip: Well, here we are, the final video in the Shimmer Paint series. I made sure to end with the best technique of all – it’s an antiquing technique and I found it work beautifully with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder but I think you will find lots of embossed images that will look beautiful with this Shimmer Paint technique.
I hope you enjoy the final video in the Shimmer Paint Technique series….

I wanted to show you some photos of the card I created. I absolutely love how it turned out!
Can you see how that Bright Copper Shimmer Paint turned this embossed cardstock into antiqued metal? It’s SO much prettier in person too, because you can really see the shine in it.
I brought in the Flourish Thinlits to die cut a couple of leaves in Early Espresso and Merry Merlot.
I had a little leftover shimmer paint on my sponge dauber so I touched the edges of the leaves with it. Lovely!
- Early Espresso – 4 ¼” x 11″, score and fold at 5 ½”
- Early Espresso – 4″ x 5 ¼” and 2″ x 3″
- Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5 ¼”
- Merry Merlot – 2″ x 3″
- Merry Merlot Ribbon – 6″ plus a knot
