Stampin' Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge! Join me!

Well, Thanksgiving is over, the leftovers fill the fridge…. and all the really good leftovers are long gone.

The Stewart’s have been enjoying a Thanksgiving escape to Broken Bow, Oklahoma for the week.  We rented a beautiful cabin for everyone but as luck would have it, Christina had to be at work at 6:00am for the Black Friday sale at Build-a-Bear.  Boo.

We were so bummed she couldn’t stay the entire week but if you’ve raised teenagers, you know there comes a time when you realize that family trips are a thing of the past. <sigh>  So, through the rain, sleet, and a little bit of snow, Christina & Ginny headed back to Oklahoma City last night.  This leaves just Mr. Awesome and I to enjoy the cabin alone.  Yeah, that’s nice too…. but we had really hoped for a full week as a family.

I am doing some stamping while I’m here.  I always love to bring my Paper Pumpkin boxes with me because they are SO easy to pack and everything I need is in the box.  What’s not to love about that?  And, this month’s kit is perfect because it’s full of great Christmas cards and that goes along with the Challenge for this weekend!

If you have some fun time this weekend, why not join in on the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge.  It’s an easy one since I know everyone is really busy this weekend.

Here’s what I designed for this weekend’s challenge…

Stampin' Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge for November 27, 2015 - join us at

My card for Christmas this year was inspired by last week’s Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge.  I changed it up a little because I don’t have tons of time to create cards this year.  I still wanted lots of bling on my card so I used the Gold Foil Sheets and the Winter Wonderland Vellum Stack.  Talk about quick and easy cards but they have a BIG WOW factor to them.

Talk about a short and sweet supply list!  The only thing not listed was the Paper Pumpkin kit for November, Mistletoe & Holly.  It was a fantastic kit with a fabulous 6-piece stamp set included.

If you are a current Paper Pumpkin subscriber, below is a BONUS TUTORIAL for your kit this month.  I will follow-up with you after the first of December with 10-12 MORE tutorials so you will be overflowing with new ideas on how to use your Mistletoe & Holly stamp set!
