How did it get to be Friday already?  That really snuck up on me. I said yesterday it was a crazy week and boy it has been.

Let me share a couple of fun ideas with you using the sketch for this weekend….

Nothing says summer like a swimming card!  Today starts the first day of school for Ginny and I thought this card was so appropriate.

Those little fishy just make me smile.  I truly love the Seaside Shore stamp set.  I also love that it has matching Designer Paper.

Did you notice the Seaside embossing folder in the background?  This is a GREAT embossing folder whether you want it to look like waves or just want something funky and wavy.

Ever need a REALLY fast card?  Sure you have.  Well, I have the perfect card!

A couple of layers and washi tape.  Boom!  Card made!

It was fun to replace those circles with Washi.  I really need to use it more.  It’s great stuff.  I just never remember to use it.  Check out that short and sweet supply list!

Today is the day!  The day that all the parents in the Moore Public School district have been waiting for.  The FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!  This morning I took Ginny to the high school to start her first day as a Sophomore.  She’s actually happy to go back to school.  Not happy about waking up at 7am but happy to be back to school.  She’s a REALLY good student and enjoys the classes I hated in school – math and science.  Me?  I am and will never be a math girl.  English on the other hand… I rocked those classes.  I know she’s going to have a great year.

If you’re sending kids back to school, I think you will really enjoy this video.  If someone were home to take a picture, this would SO be me.

Not gonna lie…. it will be nice to have my nice quiet house back during the day.  I LOVE having my kids home for summer break but there is something so magical about the first day of school when you’re a mom.  Am I right?  I know one day I will miss the days of having them here for summer break but for NOW I am going to enjoy my coffee in peace.
