Happy Friday my friends! I hope you’ve had a fabulous week so far. I’ve been busy stamping the last couple days and working on this weekend’s challenge. Check out this great sketch!
Simple enough but fills some great space. What do you see when you see this sketch? Are you in the mood for flowers? Masculine? Can you see a Birthday card layout? Well, whatever you see, it’s time to take the STAMPIN’ GALS GONE WILD WEEKEND CHALLENGE!
This weekend’s sketch has SO many possibilities!
- The flag can be cardstock, ribbon, designer paper, anything!
- The ribbon knot can be ribbon, cardstock, a flower, anything!
- The layers are 2 different sizes but get creative with your sizing!
So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls. Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now over 1,200 strong!
Are you part of the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Facebook group? If not, come join in on the fun and be inspired by stampers from all over the world!

Here is what I created for this Weekend’s Challenge…I used the Hello Life stamp set on page 6 of the Occasions catalog. I love that BIG sentiment and can you believe it? This was the first time it was inked! Oh goodness gracious me! It’s way to fun to be without ink!
I also love the contrast between the black, white, and Tempting Turquoise. This card was taught to me by a demonstrator friend, Jann McCollom (who learned it from her friend Sherri). I am going NUTS with this technique and I plan to have a video to teach you how to do it very soon. Do you recognize the stamp set? It’s Crazy About You, page 31 of the Occasions catalog. I did this fun doodle technique on it and wouldn’t you know it, it was the most fun EVER! I am a lousy doodler, but as you do it, you learn quickly that you don’t have to be.

love, love, love this doodle technique. Thx for sharing.
Jan McCollom’s technique looks like it incorporates Zentangle…how cool is that!!!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing.
Dee, I had never heard of Zentangle so I Googled it. Cool! Yeah, that’s pretty much it except that we start with a stamped image to guide us. Thanks for sharing this (and what a fun word!)
Awesome sketch .. might just play along
