Stampin' Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge

Yay! Friday! My favorite day! Is it yours too? Weekends are when a lot of get our stamping time in. Why not tackle the weekend’s challenge then? It just might be what you need to get your weekend going.

Some things to remember about the challenge….

The colors mean nothing –get creative!
The heart can be anything – a flower, a sentiment, a die cut, you name it!
Those dotted background could be stamped images, Designer Series Paper, or an embossed image

Sometimes we all need a little boost to get our creative juices flowing. That’s what the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is all about… a place to start and let your creativity go from there.

Let me share a couple of cards with you using the sketch for this weekend….

This weekend, I am focusing on the Layering Circle Framelits and the Delicate Lace Doilies. They worked so well for this weekend’s challenge.

Pool Party and Basic Black seem to be a trend for me lately. I don’t know what it is about this combination but I love it! I pulled out a stamp set that hadn’t seen ink yet, Timeless Love, and create this quick card.

Delicate Lace Doilies were perfect for this card. They are very inexpensive (24 for $3 USA) and when you use only half of one, you save even more.

They are calling for temperatures in the 60’s this weekend so Mr. Awesome and I are going to take a Saturday day trip. Not sure where but we made a resolution to explore our state of Oklahoma this year. There are some great wineries and those hole in the wall restaurants that everyone talks about. We want to see them! So, my goal today is to find a location, pull it up on the map app, and see where the road takes us. Route 66 runs right through here and I know we are sure to find something fun.
