Hi Connie! Loved these tips! I use foil & wax paper on my punches, but never thought to use on my trimmer. Thanks so much
Sue
I’m glad you got some new ideas with this tip Sue! Thanks!!
Please help me with measuring. I just can’t get it. Please do a video on that. I got you sheet, but when I go to cut I can’t figure out what’s 3×7/8. Where is 7/8 on the cutting board. Thank you.
Diane, I have a video and diagram on how to read a ruler. https://simplysimplestamping.com/2-minute-tuesday-tip-how-to-read-a-ruler/ . I hope this helps!
Thanks Connie for the tips on the trimmer. Have done some of those ideas you mentioned, but not the alcohol . We need to take care of our items.
I’m glad you learned some new things Maureen! Thanks so much for tuning in!
Thank you Connie, what great ideas!
Thanks Martha! I hope you have a great day!!
Connie,
great ideas!!! Thank you!
You’re welcome Janice! Thanks for watching!
I just finished cleaning my Stampin Trimmer after I watched this video. I was really amazed at how dirty it was. It looks so nice now and cuts like a dream. and I added an old blade, marked it for Glimmer and it works beautifully. Thank You so much for the motivation to .to make my 10 year old SU trimmer like new again.
I love hearing that this helped you out Kay and that your trimmer is ‘like new’!!
Thanks, Connie, for the great video, especially the tip about using old blades for glimmer paper. I have kept several old blades in the bottom of the trimmer, along with my new blades. Now I know what to do with the old ones! LOL! Have a great day!
I’m glad you got some new ideas from this video Hilda! Have a fabulous day!!
I recently purchased the SU Trimmer and was disappointed at how long the blade didn’t last! Now I know how to fix that. I didn’t know that very heavy cardstock would make it dull faster which I believe is what happened so I will now go to “my room” and use your ideas to get it back to cutting like it should.
I’m so glad these tips helped you Barbara! Thanks so much for watching 🙂
This couldn’t have come at a better time!! My blade has been really acting up!! Thanks Connie!
Get that trimmer cleaned and I bet you’ll see a big difference Debbie! Enjoy your day!!
Hi Connie, I gave my trimmer the complete overhaul like you showed. It really made it work nice. Thank you for the tips. I watch you all the time. Thank you, Brenda Jacobson Two Harbors, Mn.
