If you thought it looked like a Flash Card… you are correct!  I cut the butterfly from the Basic Black layer.

Are you ready to learn how?  Here we go!

TEACH me That! A new series by the Technique Design Team. Learn a new technique every Thursday at www.SimplySimpleStamping.com.

  • Die cut your favorite Framelit or Thinlit from cardstock.  I used the Butterflies Thinlits.

  • Place the die cut face down on your Silicone Craft Sheet.  Cover the die cut with packing tape.  If you need to add more to cover it all, it’s fine.  The seams of the packing tape won’t show.

  • Trim away the excess tape.  This is super easy to do because the die cut works with you as you cut.TEACH me that! Learn the Packing Tape Glitter Technique at www.SimplySimpleStamping.com - look for the April 13, 2017 blog post
  • Now comes the fun part!  Sprinkle glitter onto the packing tape. Prepare to ooh and ahh.

  • Flip the image over and really press the packing tape into the glitter.  Just look at that amazing image!

  • Messy?  Okay, maybe a little but isn’t the final image SO worth a little glitter mess?  Take any excess glitter from your hands and rub on your face.  Sparkle for the rest of the day!
  • Now you’re ready to create a card using the glitter image!

I do hope that everyone is enjoying the Teach Me That series.

There was some confusion last week when I shared the ZenDoodle technique.  Some of you may have seen the project on someone else’s blog.  I should have mentioned it on my first post but I am on the Technique Design Team and we do share the techniques and projects we create with each other.  Sometimes we create new cards and other times we will share each other’s projects.  The goal is to teach you new techniques and I hope that the Technique Design Team is doing just that.

So, if you see projects here at Simply Simple Stamping and on another blog, no reason to be alarmed. We are just demonstrators who LOVE to share what we love with each other and on each other’s blogs.
