2-Minute Tuesday Tips by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.comI have a great 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video for you today! This was the video I wanted to share last week but it was raining so hard I couldn’t.  It worked out well because the tip I shared last week was a lifesaver for many of you.  I loved reading your comments and emails about how such a simple tip saved your photopolymer stamps.

But let’s talk about TODAY’S 2-Minute Tip video…. check out this SUPER COOL technique!

Do you recognize it?  It’s the Flourish Thinlits only I used them to emboss rather than cut.  I love how it turned out!

Here I used the Layering Square Framelits using the same technique.

Let me share today’s video…

Isn’t that cool or what?  I love how it turned out!  Are you ready to give it a try?  Here is what you need:

  • Magnetic Platform
  • Silicone Craft Mat
  • (1) 6″ x 6″ chipboard (the gray, thick chipboard that comes in our Glimmer Paper)
  • (2) 6″ x 6″ cardboard (the white cardboard that comes in our Designer Paper)

To order the items you need, just click a pic!

You can use these shim pieces over and over again. I don’t think I mentioned it in the video but if you need just a little more “umph” to your image, you can add  6″ x 6″ piece of cardstock.  Oh, and you can also glue the chipboard and cardboard together and then mark it as your Framelit Embossing Shim.
