Yesterday I shared how to make a fun Endless Birthday Easel. I absolutely LOVED how it turned out but wasn’t sure how I wanted to go about mailing it.
I played with a couple of ideas and then BOOM — Lightbulb moment! I came up with this.
Want to know how to add that easel to a card? Check out today’s video….

To create the card, here are the measurements you need to know:
- Pool Party – 11″ x 4 ¼”, scored at 5 ½” – from the bottom, measure 2 ¼” and cut a slit from the 1 ½” mark to the 2 ¾” mark
Here are the supplies I used on my Endless Birthday Shaker Easel Card. Remember, use what you have, order what you need! Just click a pic to order!

Whoo! Hoo! Love this project. I try to do a fancy fold or something that is a little involved along with simple cards for my monthly card class. This is definitely the ticket. My brain has been on hold, so your idea has been a wonderful boost to my fried brain. Thanks Connie for all your wonderful ideas. Susan in Aberdeen, Maryand.
I love the easel card yesterday, but now to be able to put it on a card is fantastic. I have a little grandniece who is having a birthday soon and this will be perfect for her. Thanks so much.
Love this Connie! Just incase someone isn’t familer with card making the pool party cardstock needs to be scored at 5 1/2 rather then the 4 1/4 you posted.
Oops! Thanks for catching that Christine. I fixed the measurement. You’re a doll!
I’m still smiling. This is just so darn clever. I love it
