I had a good old-fashioned STAMP DAY yesterday.  Don’t you love those?  It was so much fun to just play and to get some ink on my new FESTIVE PHRASES stamp set.  This stamp set was very easy to work with.  I knew after I made the first card that this was perfect for today’s What’s New Wednesday.

Festive Phrases is a 4-piece stamp set and each stamp is pretty good sized.

Let me share what I created for you with this set.

I think this one is my favorite.  Maybe because “Elf” is my favorite Christmas movie.  A touch of gold washi tape and I love how the sign is “popped”.  

I stamped just part of the elf on the inside.  Cute, right?

Simply cutting a snowflake in half gave it a totally different look.

I love the look of the silver embossing!

When creating a Halloween project, chocolate is a must!  Am I right?

I sponged a gold snowflake with the Basic Black ink, allowed it to dry, and then sniped each piece.  Crinkled it a little bit and it takes on a wicked creepy feel.  I loved this embellishment!

Today is a VERY special day in our house.  Mr. Awesome turns 49 today!  No, really, he is really turning 49, not that game we play about turning 49 to avoid admitting we’re 50.  We are taking him out to dinner tonight to celebrate his awesomeness.

Christina discovered yesterday that she doesn’t have rehearsal tonight.  That never happens but the timing was perfect.  I know that Rich is very excited to go out and celebrate with ALL his favorite girls.
