Last night at the Choir Booster meeting, someone clipped Mr. Awesome’s brand new truck in the parking lot (my retro picture exaggerates…. a lot).
The guy could have EASILY took off and no one would have seen him. Rich wouldn’t even see the damage until daylight. But this guy stuck around, waiting for us to come out of the meeting so he could give us his insurance info and exchange phone numbers.
Having your new truck hit isn’t something you want to happen but when it does and the person sticks around to let you know, makes a huge difference in how you react to it. It’s nice to know that some people do the right thing, isn’t it?
I just wanted to share that with you. It really made my day that this man (in front of his high school aged daughter) took responsibility. Integrity isn’t lost!
I hope that everyone has a great Wednesday! I’m in my exercise clothes so I can take a walk later today. We are supposed to hit 77° today!! Thought I would take a walk and get my Vitamin D. Hope you are enjoying some sunshine too.
