Hamburger Box die - Order yours at It’s SO stink in’ cute, right?  When I saw this box in the new catalog, it was one of the first things I bought and first things I used. I immediately tore into it, grabbed some cardstock, and was ready to create!  I had visions of all the fabulous ways I would use this sweet box.  As I folded the score lines and began to assemble the box, my dreams were crushed.  What I had was a mangled mess of a box that looked like the dog got a hold of it.  It was just terrible!

I crumbled it up, threw it in the trash, looked at the die and did what you guys would do.  I cursed it, said, “What a waste of money” and threw it in a drawer!

Well, my dear friend Sherry Davis gave me some tips that CHANGED MY MIND.  I pulled that die out of my drawer, I scolded it for being so naughty and said “You have one more chance or you’re outta here!”

Well, the heavens opened and the angels wept!  I did a happy dance and here is my final project.

GREAT new tips to make the Hamburger Box die a dream to assemble - Look at how the edges of the box are scored nice and sharp, the flaps aren’t mangled, and it really looks like a little hamburger box.  I kept the design pretty simple but it sure came out cute!

Now, you just might be saying to yourself, “Connie, dear sweet Connie.  We humble ourselves at your feet.  Please, won’t you share with us, your dedicated and loyal readers, HOW THE HECK YOU DID IT?”

Why of course I will!  And guess what?  The tips I have for you are SO simple!  I have watched a few videos on the die and I see people using glue (which just wouldn’t hold for me), I’ve seen hot glue (hot glue and I have a horrible working relationship).  Nope, for me, it’s all about Glue Dots and a couple snip snips.

How about a video so you can learn these wonderful tips!  Let’s go…

I’m off to pick up Ginny from church camp.  I’ve missed her SOOO much and can’t wait to have my little girl home again!  Roxie the Wonder Puppy (wonder what she’ll tear up next) misses her too.  She’s had to sleep in my bed and I guess I’m not as lenient with the bed space as Ginny.  Too bad Roxie!  Mamma needs her bed space!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  See ya back here on Monday!  Oh, but before I go, let me go ahead and share the WEEKLY DEALS in case you missed them on Tuesday.
