Happy December 1st everyone! The first day of the month is always YOU CAN CREATE IT INTERNATIONAL – a share that I do with demonstrators from Germany, Canada, Netherlands, and everywhere in between.
Here’s how it works…. we are given a set of supplies and the challenge is to create a project using these supplies. We can add other supplies but I really like to work with the supplies and not add anything. It’s really fun to see what I can create using just the supplies given.
For December, we were challenged to use:
- 4″ x 6″ Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper
- 8 ½” x 5 ½” Smoky Slate cardstock
- 40″ Smoky Slate Thick Bakers Twine
- (6) Home For Christmas Enamel Dots
Let me show you what I created from the supplies this month. I used the card base to create this fun Christmas Cracker. I absolutely LOVE creating Christmas Crackers for stocking stuffers. They are just FUN to make and fun to give!
I typically love to make my creations with only the supplies given but this project desperately needed a tag so I used some Red Glimmer Paper and the Decorative Label punch. The Merry Christmas is my FAVORITE Christmas stamp set, Lots of Joy (page 69 of the big catalog).
These Christmas Crackers will hold about 6 Hershey Nugget chocolates or any other yummy you might want to put inside. A roll of quarters would fun too!
