I had a GREAT 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video for you. It’s filmed, edited but there is some glitch going on between YouTube and Mac. It seems a lot of people haven’t been able to upload videos the last few days. Hmmm, weird, right? Let’s hope it’s a simple fix but right now, I can’t find a solution.
So, I guess I will have to save my great tip for next week. Sorry! But I don’t want to leave you hanging so I am going to share one of my favorite tip videos with you.
A throwback from June 2015…
I have always struggled with color combinations. I tend to stick with the same ones all the time but I learned a trick to get me out of my color rut. With this simple system, you will have LOTS of color possibilities, more than you ever imagined.
Let me share today’s video…

Here’s what I used to create my Bag of Colors. Use what you have, order what you need. To order, just click a pic and you’ll go directly to my Online Store.
It’s just that easy! I hope you enjoyed today’s tip and that you can take some time to create one of these for yourself. Trust me, when you do, you will be so tickled with your own personal color combinations.
Well, today was really B-Day – Ginny’s braces are officially OFF! I’ll have to post a picture tomorrow. She would kill me if I posted the picture I took of her (she is in a half-blink, not pretty). All went well and Thursday she will get her retainer. So she has 2 days of bliss before she goes back to “stuff” in her mouth. Oh, and with joy comes pain. The orthodontist took X-rays and poor Ginny’s wisdom teeth are coming in…sideways. Guess what she will be doing as soon as school is out? Well, on the bright side, Christina needs hers out too so we will just take care of both of them at the same time. If I have to nurse one kid, I might as well, nurse two, right?
Now that the Mom Taxi is done for the day, I am going to spend some time stamping. I will have Mr. Awesome see if he can figure out what is going on with YouTube and I hope to be back with you soon!
Tomorrow I will have some wonderful inspiration for you in my What’s New Wednesday so join me then!
Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
I always look forward to your 2 minute Tuesday tips and your Flash card videos. You are a talented lady!
After seeing this great tip of punching out a scallop for every color so one can mix/match easily, I did it! I sat and punched out all those scallops and boy what fun I now have mixing/matching up color combos! TERRIFIC tip Connie..thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember braces and wisdom teeth:had my wisdom teeth out in the hospital (this was a long time ago) becuz I had braces on AND the day I was to get my braces off, Iowa had a blizzard so I had to wait a whole month more!!! I was one unhappy girl believe me, so I know what Ginny is going through!
Any Tip for identifying ink refills? I always buy an ink refill with every ink pad I buy, so I have tons of refills. But, can’t tell which color is which unless I pick up each one and look at the label. Time consuming,, Stampin’ Up aware of this problem? Thank You. Love all of your tips, Connie.
I do! I will add that to my list and create that video very soon!
Thank you so much for doing these tips. I have learned so much from you.
Love this, want to do and will write color name on backs of the scallop circles.
I find these Simply Simple Stamping tips amazingly useful, and love how short they are. Have pinned many to my pinterest page so that I can reference them 🙂
Thank you for that Jean! I appreciate that!
I do the exact same thing and the color combinations that end up next to each other are amazing! I never would have thought of anything that ends up together. Such a fun and pretty way to get your next color combination with great packaging too!
