I have recently gone GA-GA over my Aqua Painters. I’ve had them for years but something changed recently and I “rediscovered” them. One tip I am very excited to share is how to create custom colored Glimmer Paper.
I LOVE glimmer paper but with only 4 color options, what is a crafter to do when they want MORE colors? Well, today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip will show you how your Aqua Painter will help you achieve any color you want. Check out today’s video!
See? It’s really quite easy to do and it dries so quickly too! Here’s a simple card I created with those glimmer dots I colored in my video.
Want to order any of the supplies you need to create my card? Just click a pic to add an item to your order!
I had so much fun at last week’s Facebook LIVE that I’m doing it again! Mark your calendars!
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16th at:
- 7pm central time
- 8pm eastern time
- 6pm mountain time
- 5pm pacific time

I hope you enjoyed today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip. I am so excited to be able to create some great new colors of Glimmer Paper. How about you? Be sure to add a couple packages to your next order because once you start coloring, you won’t be able to stop.
Use the AUGUST HOST CODE GCDCRYMN on your order of $20* or more, you will NAB A GRAB BAG! What’s in the grab bag? Could be anything! I have some fun product from the previous catalog that is up for grabs! Your grab bag will be inside your Thank You card for placing your online order.
Remember, if your order is over $150.00*, DON’T use the Host Code and earn Stampin’ Rewards (Rewards start at $15) plus a Grab Bag!
*Before Tax & Shipping. One Grab Bag per person.

Good Morning Connie,
I love all your tips ! Was wondering does the alcohol mixed with the ink affect the stamp pad when I am done stamping and go to close it or Should I clean off the lid first.
Many thanks and have a Blessed Day Girl!
I always recommend that you wipe off the ink/alcohol on the lid before closing it up. Honestly, i am not sure if it would cause a problem but better safe than sorry. I always wipe it off. It just takes a few seconds to do and I know that my ink pad is safe.
