Today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip is a spin off of last week’s tip. After I shared that tip, I got to thinking…. “I wonder if it would work on vellum too?” I did a 2-minute happy dance when I saw the end result.
I’m going to share with you a NEW way to adhere vellum so NO adhesive shows through. This tip is going to rock your world!
Here’s what most adhesive looks like on vellum – SNAIL on top (gross), Glue in the middle (barf), and Glue Dots (tacky).
I’m tellin’ you, my new tip is amazing!!! I have avoided using vellum for YEARS because there was just not a good way to adhere it without the adhesive showing. It’s a shame too because vellum is gorgeous!
Now look how awesome my vellum looks! You can’t see ANY adhesive!
Let me share today’s amazing 2-Minute Tip Video with you…

What a great tip, Connie. I love it. Adhering vellum is always a problem unless you have something on top to help hide the glue dot, etc. This is a super tip!! Have a great day!
This is great!!!!!!!!!!
Great idea! I’ve seen this done on Thinlit dies as well. Thank you.
Yep! I just posted that tip last week. It works GREAT on thinlit dies!
Life saver indeed!!! I was just wondering how I was going to adhere a stamped sentiment on Vellum to my card, I usually put glue dots and then hide them with Rhine Stones but sometimes they fall off.
This tip is SUPER, thank you Connie, you always come out with the best tips ever.
Big Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
