Happy Friday! I don’t know about you but Friday couldn’t come fast enough for me this week. It’s been a BUSY week with things going on every night. The weekend will be the same but should be fun. If stamping is on the agenda for your weekend then you are going to love the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge!
Some things to remember about the challenge….
- The colors mean nothing –get creative!
- The rectangle can be anything – a stamped image, a focal image, anything!
- The ribbon could be a stamped image, Designer Series Paper, or washi tape
So, your challenge is to create something with this layout and then mail it to a friend! What good is a card that you keep to yourself?
Let me share a couple of cards with you using the sketch for this weekend….
As you know, I work with a few other demonstrators on the Weekend Challenges and Sharon blew me away with this card!
The Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper is such a gorgeous paper. I love the soft colors and the watercolor look.
The Stylish Stems Framelits are so detailed and pretty. It finished off this card perfectly.

I get a lot of requests for masculine cards. They are something we all struggle with. Jackie shared this card with me and I thought it was awesome.
I love the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder in the background.
Whether it’s for a boy or a man, this card is great for the sport guy in your life!

I absolutely LOVED the cards for this weekend. I have so enjoyed working with Jackie and Sharon (and Mimi too) on the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenges. We have a ton of fun working together and creating together. Even though the Weekend Challenge will be coming to an end next week, our working relationship won’t stop. Starting in April, we have something brand new for you! It’s SO cool!
As I said, a busy weekend ahead. Monday I celebrate the BIG 5-0! Wahoo! Honestly, birthdays aren’t a big deal to me but I think turning 50 is pretty awesome! My Mom, my sister and her family are all coming over for dinner on Sunday. I have the BEST family ever and we don’t get together as often as we would like but holidays and birthdays are always a good reason to get together.
Have a wonderful weekend my stamping peeps! See you all back here on Monday!

Happy BIG 5-0! The years roll (rush) by, and the numbers get higher, but in our minds we still feel the same. Our bodies, that’s another story.
You’re really looking good for 50! Have a great celebration day and enjoy your family!!
Have a fabulous 50th–you’re my birthday twin, but I have quite a few years on you 🙂 We’re not getting older, we’re getting better!!!!
I love birthday twins! Yay us!!!! Hope your birthday was fabulous Debby!
Happy Birthday, Connie. 50 is a milestone! I celebrated my b’day on the 14th of this month, my husband’s b’day is today, and my younger nephew shares your b’day. My brother’s is on the 9th of March and my Mother’s was March 12th. As you can see, we are “March heavy” in my family. Enjoy your special day!
