I just love the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set. I think I said it in an earlier post but I am not big into gross, scary, creepy, or zombie Halloween stuff. I like cute, fun, sweet Halloween stuff. This “happy” Dracula made me giggle.
My demonstrator friend, Barb, sent me this card and I thought it was just so cute!
See? That’s my idea of a Halloween card!
I also loved that this card could easily be made with any of the stamps in the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.
Now it’s YOUR turn to create! Want to work off your mobile device? Just take it to your stamp space and work from here.

Have you ever had one of those weekends you wish would end? Yeah, it’s a rare thing when you wish it would just be Monday already but it was one of those weekends here in the Stewart house.
Christina got her wisdom teeth pulled on Friday and we had planned to go camping. We thought it would be nice to let Christina recover in the camper and just enjoy some quiet. We nixed that idea after surgery when she was not feeling well and by Friday night we were SO glad we stayed home.
The surgery went well….the medication did not. Christina has never been under anesthesia or on pain medication before and we learned over the weekend that she can’t stomach oxycodone. She spent the entire weekend clinging to a toilet and crying. She was in so much pain because she couldn’t keep the pain medication down to give her any relief. At that time, we didn’t know it was the medication, we thought it was anesthesia making her sick.
After dealing with it throughout the day Saturday, on Sunday morning I called the doctor to see about getting her on something else for the pain and he also gave her some meds for nausea. Sunday afternoon was a MUCH better day.
My heart just broke for her. I felt like a totally helpless mom. You just want it all to go away and get better. I am happy to report that the new medication worked and she got some much needed rest.
She is on her college Fall break so she has today and tomorrow off from school. I’m sure she will need both those days to fully recover. Bless her sweet little heart. What an ordeal this was. Ginny got hers out in August and it was easy breezy so I didn’t even think there would be a problem for Christina.
So… you can guess, I got absolutely nothing done this weekend so today, if all goes well, will be a busy day. I’ve never been so happy to see Monday.
See ya tomorrow my friends!

Hugs to Christina?. Being a Mom is never easy but the love is worth it all. From one who has “been there, done that”. ???
That card is so cute and the layout so adaptable to anything. I love it. So sorry to hear that you all and especially Christina had a rough weekend. It is good for you to know that is how she reacts to pain meds. I hope she never needs them again but if she does you will know to start the anti-emetic at the same time.
I am really enjoying your videos. Glad your daughter is getting back to normal. My daughter had oral surgery a year and a half ago. She was having finals the week following the surgery. She left the heavy pain medication alone and took the Advil. It was not an easy week, though. We as Mom’s want things to go easy and dealing with surgery for our children is not normal at my house anyway. Glad you were able to change gears and help her feel better.
