Happy Tuesday my friends! Have I got a FUN 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video for you! I want to share with you how to create a custom designer travel mug from all that Designer Series Paper you have been hoarding I know you have! So let’s put it to good use today.
I absolutely LOVED the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper, mainly because of this camping pattern. This is actually my camping mug and it makes me SO happy whenever I sip my coffee in it while enjoying the woods and the campfire.
I also love retro and I love dogs so the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper was also a favorite. Guess what? I can easily change out the paper to whichever pattern I am in the mood for.
Let me share today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip Video….
I have some Amazon links to share with you. The mug that I bought is no longer available (at least not that I could find) but there are different styles and different sizes. Just pick the one that works right for you. You might want more than one so you can make them as gifts!

Last night I did something that got me a little choked up. I ironed Christina’s graduation gown. Wow. Where did that 4 years go??? Graduation is Saturday morning. I couldn’t help but think about what Christina must be thinking right now. Most of her life has been spent in school and now she is done. It’s time to think about a career and putting all she learned into practice.
She still has her student teaching to do in the Fall and it’s going to be amazing for her. She will finally get to actually TEACH drama to middle school and high school kids. I know she is excited for that experience and we are praying that a theatre teaching position will open up nearby.
We did purchase her a “new home” to live in while she gets settled. We spent all weekend SUPER cleaning this RV for her. We got a great deal on it because there were lots of repairs to be done. The good news is, the repairs weren’t as bad as we thought. We thought the microwave didn’t work. Nope, it’s fine, just a loose fuse. The TV antenna was not working but a simple part from the RV store and we were back in business.
The grime in this thing was unbelievable. Greasy and gritty. YUCK! It took 3 days to scrub it from top to bottom but it looks really nice now. Hmm, maybe we should start flipping RV’s? This RV is gorgeous now! Here are some photos.
I’m kinda jealous. This RV is nicer than my first apartment! Not to mention, it’s probably bigger too. Isn’t that kitchen beautiful? She’s excited to move into it but for the summer, we will use it so that we can work out all the kinks before she takes it over. It’s not going to be easy to let it go though. I love it!
Thanks for tuning in today. I hope you enjoyed the quick video tutorial. I absolutely love my camping mug and thanks to Stampin’ Up Designer Series Paper I can customize it any time I want.

Letting them go is always hard. You have done an amazing job with that RV. It is beautiful.
Hi Connie! I really enjoy your website and reading about your family activities. We just recently got our “retirement 5th wheel trailer,” it is a few years old and in great condition. We just took our first real trip to Nevada to visit friends, we live in California. The trip went well and enjoyed our “new” trailer with our new little dog too. Have enjoyed camping for many years now, we had a 25′ travel trailer for 18 yrs, this new one gives us a little more room. You found a really nice RV and surely your daughter will enjoy living in it. Thank you for sharing your gift of crafting, you are a blessing – Kathy

WOW! Nice place and GREAT job! She’s a lucky girl!
