2-Minute Tuesday Tip – Creating Wooden Accents

I think wooden accents are awesome but the problem with them is that they can be bulky and they do add weight to a card. While playing around with the new Detailed Deer framelits, I had an idea and it worked beautifully! I thought it would be a great 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video so let me show you what I learned.

Let me share today’s video with you….

It’s a simple card but WOW that deer looks like a wooden accent, doesn’t it?

You know me, I love to die cut, punch, or something from behind a layer before I cover it. I cut the Wood Textures Designer Paper just a little bigger than my Very Vanilla so that I could use it to layer on.

Here is what you need to create the card:

• Rich Razzleberry – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼” 
• Wood Textures Designer Series Paper – 3 ½” x 3 ½” 
• Early Espresso – 3 ½” x 3 ½”
• Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet – 3 ½” x 3 ½”
• ¼” Copper Trim – 16″
