I have really enjoyed sharing these 2-Minute Tuesday Tip videos on how to use cardstock vellum.  I have a new one for you today.  How about soft vellum flowers?

Aren’t they beautiful?  They give such a nice softness to a card.  The Blossom Bunch punch works great to create the layered flowers on this card.

Check out this box!  WOW!  That vellum succulent turned out gorgeous!

I added some Silver Dazzling Details to the center but silver glimmer paper would have been beautiful as well.

You’ve heard of Beatle Mania…..well,in our house, it’s ANT Mania…. as in pesky little black ants.  We had all the rain over the weekend and the ants have been making my stamp room their new Hilton!  EEK!

Pinterest to the rescue!  I found a way to get rid of them and although I wasn’t sure if it would work, after a couple of hours, this is what I find.

EWW!  Look at all of them!!!  Pinterest sure saved me!  So, I thought I would pass along the secret recipe.  Okay, not secret.  It was on Pinterest.

• ⅓ c. sugar
• 1 T. Borax
• 1 cup warm water

Mix together and drop cotton balls in the mixture.  Set the cotton balls in the lids of water or pop bottles and walk away.  In about an hour, the ants will be sucking that delicious concoction and take the Borax back to their nest….killing them all.  Wow.  It sounds so morbid.

I’ll let you know if the ants went marching home or not!
