Masculine cards are really hard for me, especially when I want to add that special touch but a bow just doesn’t seem appropriate.
Google to the rescue! I searched for “boating knots” and found this knot that was just perfect.
Have you noticed all the “boating/sailing” themed stamp sets we have ? This knot will go perfect with these stamp sets…
- Traveler (pg 82)
- By the Tide (pg 82)
- From Land to Sea (pg 83)
- The Open Sea (pg 84)
- Guy Greetings (pg 98)
- Going Global (pg 39 Occasions catalog)

It’s B-Day here in the Stewart house. Well Half-B Day. What is B-Day? Today HALF the braces come off of Ginny! She is SO excited!!! I have got to get off the computer so I can shower and be out of here in a bit but just wanted to share my excitement for her. If you had a child in braces you KNOW this day all too well. 🙂
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Super tip Connie, thanks
This is a fabulous knot for masculine cards Connie, most times I stay away from adding ribbon to this types of cards and end up just using Linen Thread or nothing.
But this knot looks amazing and elegant, perfect to add that little detail to guy cards.
Thank you so much for sharing this tip and the great video.
