The first card is a Scrap that Idea card! Yep, I had a bunch of 1 ¼” strips of white cardstock so I created this sweet and sunshiny card for you.
- Daffodil Delight – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Whisper White – (3) 1 ¼” x 3 ¼” and 1″ x 4 ¼” plus a small scrap for the flowers
- Basic Black – 3 ½” x 4 ¼”
- Ribbon – 16″
Here are the supplies I used on my “Scrap that Idea” card. I literally just pulled scraps from my drawer to make it and so can you. Need any of the supplies to create the card? Simple! Just click a pic to start your order!
My second card is a Flash Card 2.0. This card is very retro and fun. I love the way the end scraps could be used to add depth to the card.
- Whisper White Thick – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Granny Apple Green – 2 ⅛” x 5 ½” – cut (2) ¾” x 2 ⅛” leaving 2 ⅛” x 4″
- Whisper White – 2” x 5 ⅜” – punch a 2″ circle on one end and cut (1) into ¾” x 3 ⅜” and the remaining to ¾” x 3″
- Ribbon – 3″ and a ribbon knot
I love how this Flash Card 2.0 came together! Such fun layers! To order any of the supplies you need to create it yourself, just click a pic!

Beautiful card
Hello Connie,
I am excited about learning about the different cards you make. I am a beginner, haven’t made a card yet. What would you recommend for my first bundle?
Lena Keys
Welcome to the wonderful world of paper crafting! First bundle? Good question but a hard one to answer. Everyone has different tastes but if you don’t have a die cutting machine, skip any of the bundles with dies. Bundles with punches would be GREAT though. My favorite right now is Lovely You Bundle (page 22 of the annual catalog). The punch is really versatile and the stamp set is awesome. I also love Field of Flowers (page 117) and Posted for You (page 81). I will have a YouTube Live on Thursday, July 16th featuring Posted for You if you want to check it out.
I love these! I have the Nothing Better Than bundle on its way to me, so I am prepared to watch you create with your bundle! Thank you for all that you do to teach and share!
I love hearing that you enjoy the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set! See you on Thursday for the Premiere!
