CREATIVE JUICE Sketch – Week #34
When I saw this week’s Creative Juice sketch, I knew what Designer Series Paper I wanted to use. I had a few strips from the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper sitting on my desk. I also had a new set of Edgelits, Delicate Lace, that were begging to be used.
Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing. Let me share this week’s card inspiration.
- Get creative with your color combinations
- Those labels in the corner could be stamped images, punched flowers, or Designer Paper circles…. just about anything really

Here is what I came up with for today’s CREATIVE JUICE sketch…
For my sentiment, I used the Blended Seasons bundle – the small label framelits, cut in half, was just perfect!
For those 3 images in the corner, I chose to stamp the flower from the stamp set.
- Coastal Cabana – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
- Rich Razzleberry – 1 ¾” x 5 ½”
- Whisper White – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
- Designer Series Paper – 1 ¾” x 5 ½”

We got the results from Ginny’s MRI yesterday and although we are happy to have answers, it wasn’t quite the answer we wanted. The right side of her jaw is completely dislocated and the left side is slipping in and out.
We were referred to another specialist and the soonest we could get into him was October. GULP! As I was working with their office, out of nowhere she says, “Well, wait, I can get you in September 19th.” “I’LL TAKE IT!” That’s still a month away but it’s better than 2 months away, right? Turns out this is the same doctor that my Mom was referred to when she broke her jaw but they couldn’t get her in for a month so she had to find a different doctor. NO WAY I would take Ginny to see him. Did you ever meet a doctor and just say, “Nope, not happening”? That’s how I felt every time I was with him so we will wait to see Dr. Baker in September.
If you recall, insurance doesn’t cover this but I am hoping now that we have an MRI showing that it’s not TMJ but dislocated, that HOPEFULLY they will start to cover it. Time will tell on that.
Here’s the BEST part of all of this…. Ginny has no pain, none! The doctors and nurses are just shocked that she says her pain level is at a 2 at most and that is when she yawns or has talked a lot. God is so good! We’re so blessed that if she does have to wait to get in, although it’s frustrating, she’s not hurting.
