Wahoo! It’s Friday and that means it’s time for my favorite segment here at Simply Simple Stamping – CREATIVE JUICE! Today I will present Week #14 in the series and I had a ball with today’s sketch.
Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing. Let me share this week’s card inspiration.
- Get creative with your color combinations.
- The scallops could be a stamped boarder, scallop, a strip of Designer Paper or even ribbon.
You can print out the sketches each week OR you can save them to your computer. By doing this you will have sketch ideas at your fingertips, whenever you need them. Here is what I came up with for today’s CREATIVE JUICE sketch…
I love the whimsical look of the A Mother’s Flair stamp set. The fonts are just gorgeous!
And of course, let’s stamp the inside too.
Here are the measurements for my YOU MAKE MOTHERHOOD LOOK GOOD card but remember, these measurements are not set in stone. Get creative with your measurements!
- Elegant Eggplant – 11″ x 4 ¼”, score and fold at 5 ½” and a 2 ¼” circle
- Whisper White – 3 ¾” x 3 ¾” and 1 ¾” x 2″ plus a 2″ circle
- Tempting Turquoise – (4) 1 ⅜” circles
- Lemon Lime Twist – 2″ x 2 ¼”
- Lemon Lime Twist ribbon – 6″

This morning my friend Jackie & I will jump on the train and head down to Fort Worth, Texas for the weekend. We are both really excited about the Stampin’ Up conference. I always look forward to these events. We will be receiving the brand new Stampin’ Up catalog while we’re there. I’m SO excited to see what new stamps and accessories we can all play with this next year. No lie, it’s like Christmas morning for me when they hand me that catalog.
