Each week I share a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing.  Let me share this week’s card inspiration.

• Get creative with your color combinations.  
• Those circles could be a stamped image, Designer Paper punches or your favorite Framelit.

You can print out the sketches each week OR you can save them to your computer. Here is what I came up with for today’s CREATIVE JUICE sketch…

I needed a quick baby card and so I thought stars instead of circles.  I liked how it turned out!  It’s also a Flash Card (well, with the addition of a couple 1 ½” scraps…. but I’m calling it a Flash Card).

I added some Wink of Stella onto the stamped stars and the die cut stars.  It’s much prettier in person.

I added the embossing folder, Oh My Stars, and the softness of the folder made this card extra special.  No store-bought card can compare!

Here are the measurements for my TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR baby card but remember, these measurements are not set in stone.  Get creative with your measurements!

• Soft Sky – 11″ x 4 ¼”, score and fold at 5 ½” plus scrap for star
• Sahara Sand Flash Card- 2 ¾” x 4 ¼”
• Very Vanilla Flash Card – 2 ½” x 4″
• So Saffron – scrap for star

There are 2 seasons – Camping season and I Wish it Were Camping season.  Today marks the first day of CAMPING SEASON!!!!  I’m so happy!!!!!!

We purchased a really nice used RV for Christina to live in after college and over the summer we are going to use and get it fixed up for her.  We will take it out for the first time this weekend.  It won’t be a relaxing weekend but a working weekend.  Mr. Awesome got everything packed up and tonight we will move all our stuff in.  This will give him a chance to work out any issues and understand the ins and outs of this RV so that when Christina calls with a problem, he’ll know how to deal with it.

Keeping our fingers crossed we can find a campground because I think everyone in Oklahoma who is a camper will be out this weekend.  Highs in the 70’s!  It’s going to be wonderful!

My Paper Pumpkin kit came in the mail yesterday.  YAY!  Just in time for this weekend’s camping fun.  I love to take Paper Pumpkin boxes with me because everything I need is in the box.  It’s perfect for weekend getaway time.
