We made it to Friday, ya’ll!  Wahoo!  I have been stamping like crazy this week and having a blast.  It’s too hot to do anything else.  The Pop of Petals stamp set and punch have pretty much been a staple on my desk all week.  I love this bundle.  I let it be the focal point to Week #27 Creative Juice.

Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing.  Let me share this week’s card inspiration.

• Get creative with your color combinations
• The scallop could be a punch, a Framelit, or a sentiment

Here is what I came up with for today’s CREATIVE JUICE sketch…

This is a layout that you can use in SO many ways!

I used the Pop of Petals bundle for that great flower.  It worked so well with this Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper Stack (which is part of our Buy 3, Get 1 Free sale).  I LOVE this Designer Series Paper!

I started to just add the flower but it looks a little small so I added a couple circle punches, the sentiment, and then a couple leaf punches.  It worked beautifully to fill up the space a little more.

I wanted to add a little more texture to the bottom part of the card so I added the Striped Scallops Embossing Folder. I have a little trick for this that I wanted to share so I thought, “Why not make a tutorial?”  I ran out of time to share it today so be sure to join me next week for Make It Monday.  I will have the tutorial ready for you.  

Here are the measurements for my HOPE YOU’RE FEELING BETTER card but remember, these measurements are not set in stone.  Get creative with your measurements!

• Powder Pink – 11″ x 4 ¼”, score and fold at 5 ½”
• Designer Series Paper – 2½” x 4 ¼” (cut to 2” x 4 ¼”) 
• Lemon Lime Twist – 2 ¼” circle punch
• Whisper White – 2″ x 4″ and 2″ circle punch
• Shaded Spruce – (2) leaf punches
