Happy Friday my stampin’ peeps!  I am so tickled you joined me for a new CREATIVE JUICE sketch. Today’s sketch is a simple sketch but you can take it as far as you would like to go. I had a ball creating with this layout!

Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing.  Let me share this week’s card inspiration.

• Get creative with your color combinations.  
• The background can be designer paper, embossed cardstock, or why not stamp it?
• That circle could be any shape you wish.

You can print out the sketches each week OR you can save them to your computer. By doing this you will have sketch ideas at your fingertips, whenever you need them.  Just click the pic to download or print it.  Remember, you can always find them here if you go to the ‘Categories’ (located on the right side bar) and click on Creative Juice.

Here is what I came up with for today’s CREATIVE JUICE sketch…

This card is nothing like what I envisioned but sometimes those make for the best cards. That was the case today because this card is a thousand times better than what was in my head.

I love the Accented Blooms stamp set and I really loved working with the Stampin’ Blends on this set.  The shading they create are just gorgeous!

Can you see that I embossed the white cardstock after I colored it? The Subtle Embossing Folder is my current favorite because it turns any stamped cardstock into linen paper.  I wish you could see this card in person because the embossing makes such a difference.

I think a video on this card may be in my future! Stay tuned!

• Whisper White – 3 ¼” x 3 ½” and 2″ x 3″
• Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper – 4 ¼” x 5 ½” 
• Basic Black – 3 ½” x 3 ¾” 

I absolutely LOVE how today’s card turned out. Yes, it uses a lot of supplies but hopefully these are supplies you already have on hand. Don’t have the Blends?  Use your Stampin’ Write Markers. Don’t have this particular Designer Paper? Search your stash for something else but if you want to use the supplies I used on my card, you can just click a pic to add it to your next order. I am SO excited about this weekend.  Mr. Awesome and I are headed to Texas to spend the weekend with some dear friends. They moved away about about 4 years ago and unfortunately, we lost touch with them. Well, thanks to Facebook, we were able to reconnect!

It is sure to be a fun weekend of reminiscing and catching up. Is there anything more wonderful than catching up with old friends? I think not.
