Creative Juice – Week #45: I needed a birthday card a couple of weeks ago and I was struggling with what to create. Creative Juice to the rescue! Today’s sketch was perfectly suited for a birthday card. I love those little banner flags on the sketch and I knew I wanted to create a card with soft colors and Cake Soiree.
Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing. Let me share this week’s card inspiration.

Cake Soiree has always been my go-to birthday stamp set.
The vellum cardstock gave a nice soft touch to the card and it complimented the Swirls & Curls Embossing too.
- Soft Sea Foam – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼” and 1 ⅛” x 2 ⅜”
- Whisper White – (2) 3 ¾” x 5″
- Vellum – (2) 1″ x 4″
