It’s time to rewind on another project from last week’s Facebook Live event. I have a fabulous and delish stocking stuffer project to share with you – a Holiday Candy Bar wrap! Who wouldn’t love that in their stocking?
This is a HUGE Hershey chocolate bar that would make a wonderful stocking stuffer or fun gift for a co-worker. The red glimmer paper is such a WOW on this project.
I added a stocking with the Christmas Stocking Thinlits. It is SO gorgeous in Gold Glimmer.
If you have the Large Letter framelits, you are going to LOVE this project. If you don’t have the Large Letter framelits, they really are a must have in your Big Shot collection but even if you don’t, you can add more stockings to the project or Christmas trees would work too.
With the leftover Designer Series Paper, I created a smaller version of the project using the standard sized Hershey bars.
I promised I would share the rewind of the project so if you weren’t able to attend live, you could still play along. I know you are accustom to my “short and sweet” video style and I aim to please. Because I love you guys, I spent some time editing the video so you can just see the projects. If you would rather see the video in its entirety, CLICK HERE to view it on Facebook.
I hope you enjoy the video! Grab yourself a coffee, tea, or soda and check it out!
The measurements for my HOLIDAY CANDY BAR WRAP:
- Designer Series Paper – measure your candy bar to determine size (mine was 7″ x 8 ½”)
- Red Glimmer Paper – 2 ½” x 7 ½” (or the length of your word. I used MERRY)
- Ribbon – 28″
Want to see the supplies I used on my Holiday Candy Bar Wrap? If you want to add any of these things to your next Stampin’ Up order, just click a pic!
When I cut my Designer Series Paper down, I realized that the leftover 5″ x 12″ would be just the right size to wrap around a standard Hershey bar. YAY!
The measurements on the smaller Candy Bar Wrap are:
- Designer Series Paper – measure your candy bar to determine size (mine was 5″ x 5 ½”)
- Red Glimmer Paper – 2 ¼” x 3 ¼” (or the length of your sentiment)
- Whisper White – 2″ x 6″
- Ribbon – 15″
Here are the supplies I used on my smaller Candy Bar Wrap. Remember, use what you have, order what you need.
I heard from a fellow demonstrator that I needed to check out the November, 2017 “Quick Cards Made Easy” magazine. I don’t have a bookstore nearby anymore (where did all the bookstores go????) so Mr. Awesome and I headed out to see what we could find.
We had to dig around through all the crafting magazines to find the November issue because wouldn’t you know it, the December issues had just been released. I was excited to find the last copy and look what was on page 72…
Simply Simple Stamping!!! I was November 2017’s Website of the month for Best Stamping Ideas! WOWZA!!!!
I can’t even tell you how excited I was and I am SO grateful to Marianne for letting me know about this.
