Fall color inspiration for handmade cards is all around us! Unfortunately fall also brings the bugs and germs.
It was bound to happen…. the dreaded sinus bug snuck in and bit me. Oh the joys of sinus congestion, a sore throat, and body aches. Don’t you wish you could join me? Yeah, I wouldn’t want to be near me either (poor Mr. Awesome, he’s stuck).
I am so sorry but no video today. How about I share a fun color inspiration with you instead? I saw this image on social media and fell in LOVE with the colors. Aren’t they just perfect for Fall?
So, let’s take the challenge together. Let’s create a card featuring any or all of the colors below. Don’t have these particular colors? Get creative! It’s all about using the inspiration you see here!
Fall Color Inspiration for Handmade Cards
Let me share the card I created. I was worried when I didn’t see any greens in this color inspiration photo but look at how gorgeous Pretty Peacock looks as a wreath! WOWZA! It just pops!
I started with the Gather Together bundle, found on page 47-48 of the Holiday Catalog. The leaf dies and stamp set are amazing!
The All-Around Wreath dies includes this wonderful detailed die (page 7 Holiday catalog). What I love about this die set is that it is a great all season wreath. Oh, and be sure to check out page 59 of the Holiday catalog too. This die set matching TWO stamp sets! Yep, the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set will allow you to stamp this wreath any time of year.
- Very Vanilla Thick – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- ¾” x 2 ¼”
- Pretty Peacock – 4″ x 4″
- Rich Razzleberry – 2″ x 3″
- Crushed Curry – 2″ x 3″
- Cajun Craze – 2″ x 2″
Here are the supplies I used to create my card today. I love the definition on the 3 leaves. That is all part of the dies that come in the Gather Together Bundle. Pretty cool, right? Click a pic to start your order!
I do have some EXCITING news to share! We were just inform that Stampin’ Up’s new Paper Trimmer is coming soon! Want to get it before anyone else? Of course you do!
Everyone will be able to order the Paper Trimmer in the future (date to be determined) but I just had to share the one way you can order it now. Join my team of FABULOUS stampers and you can add the Paper Trimmer to your Starter Kit ($25 US). The Starter Kit is only $99 and you can add up to $125 of ANY current Stampin’ Up product to your kit. That would leave you $100 to spend. Doesn’t that kind of make the Paper Trimmer free?
Remember, when you join my team you also get to order your Stampin’ Up products at a discount too! Want to learn more? CLICK HERE to learn all about it!
This quote made me giggle today… even in my decongestant-foggy state.
Thank you for allowing me the day off to rest. I really needed it but even sick, a little stamp therapy was good for me. Take a little time to enjoy some stamp therapy for yourself.
