Wow! I can’t believe it but tomorrow is Opening Night of “Noises Off”. We’ve been rehearsing for just a little over a month and knowing that tomorrow we open, gives me butterflies and goosebumps!
We had what we call a ‘soft’ opening last night for some of the local high school theatre kids and I invited some of my teacher friends. Mr. Awesome was there too. Technically last night was a dress rehearsal but it’s nice to have an audience so we can get an idea of where people will laugh, how certain scenes get responses. It was a GREAT night and the audience really enjoyed the show. I got all my lines right! That was a good thing! lol
We have another smaller audience tonight and then Friday is the BIG night. We are pretty much sold out tomorrow but we do have a lot of people buy their tickets at the door so it should be a full house. I’m SO excited!
I absolutely fell in love with today’s card and I hope you enjoyed it too. What a simple yet fancy fold, right?

Thanks so much!
I used your idea and made 25 Easter cards. Thanks for the layout. I just know the play went well. With you in it….what could go wrong.
Wow Kathy! That is awesome! I’m so glad you enjoyed the card enough to make so many! The play went GREAT this weekend. So so good. One more weekend before we end the run. It’s been SO much fun!
I have to laugh that you said, “…what could go wrong?” This show is about a show that goes TERRIBLY wrong. The show starts with the play’s final rehearsal but my character can’t seem to remember what she’s supposed to do, Act 2 the audience is actually watching what is happening backstage and the cast is so angry at each other that we are sabotaging each other, Act 3 the script gets all off and the actors start making it up, just trying to end the show. It’s hilarious, of course, but to answer your question, ‘what could go wrong?’ it seems everything does go wrong. lol
I used this layout to do a wedding card for a recent team meeting swap and I also changed it up a bit to create 4 Mother’s Day cards last month, they loved them.
I am a fairly new subscriber to your YouTube channel and I just love this card! I saved the video in my playlist because I knew I would refer back to it to make a card soon. Well, now I am about to do just that. I have a friend who lives over 700 miles away and she’s going through a rough time with her daughter’s illness (Lyme Disease & co-infections) and she just needs to be cheered up. I am going to make my own version of this card for her. Thank you!
Oh Becky, my heart breaks for your friend. I hope your card is a bright spot in her day.
