Helloooooo my sweet stampin’ friends! Are you ready for a new FLASH CARD 2.0?
Today’s card features the Swirly Bird bundle. I shared this bundle with you last week and I told you then it was my favorite bundle in the catalog. It must be yours today because about half of you who ordered this past week added it to your order. Smart move! You are sure to see A LOT of samples and fun ideas using this bundle.
Let me share today’s clean and simple take on the Swirly Bird bundle.
I also used the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set for my sentiment. The font is perfect and there are sentiments to go on the inside of your card as well. I love that Stampin’ Up has more stamp sets with “inside” sentiments.
I didn’t show this in the video but check out my stamped envelope liner. Is that cute or what?
Let me share today’s FLASH CARD 2.0 video with you…

Weight Loss Update…. Today I finally hit the 15 lbs loss mark! Yay!!! I wish it were more but I think all the delicious food on the cruise caused me to plateau for a little while. We are back on our bikes a lot and going at least 15 miles a day so I am feeling really good about that. Who knew I would love anything as much as I do that bike? It’s been so much fun. Well, except yesterday. Biking in 95º temperatures is not fun. Just sayin’. I think I’m going to need to bring a second water bottle and maybe wait until later in the evening when the sun is going down. Whew! It was HOT. Lesson learned.
All this talk of heat, I think I will take my girls out for snow cones. That sounds good (even if I have to get it sugar-free). I hope you guys have a great (and cool) day!!!!

Great card! ?, when you used the swirly line die, are the lines attached to one another, or all separate?
Yes, they all stay connected. What a great question! 🙂
Love the card. The colors go great together.
The most beautiful card I’ve seen 🙂 x
Aww, you are so sweet! I did like the way it came out. So clean and simple….and simple is my thing.
Connie, I have a question! I have read a lot of posts that the wave die (that’s what I call it) in the Swirly Bird Die set breaks when put through sideways (the way you demoed (is that a word?) it. I have been afraid to use it and have been putting it through lengthwise. Have you heard anything like that? BTW, I love this card and the Swirly Bird bundle too!
Oh dear! I hadn’t heard that. To be on the safe side, I think I will put it through with the short ends. Thanks for the tip. I had no idea.
Really cute card. I just wish you’d make your pics clickable so they enlarge. I like looking more closely at projects for a better idea of element placement, etc. These old eyes don’t see as well as they used to. TFS!
Not sure if WordPress gives me that ability. I will try to look into it though.
