I was playing around with the Lots of Labels framelits the other day and before I knew it, I came up with this fun Flash Card. It was a fairly quick card too.
As I was creating it, I was so tickled at how I could use every little bit of cardstock. I love how to extra frame adds just a little bit of extra to the card.
Let’s get doing with today’s FLASH CARD video….
Here are my measurements in case you missed them.
- Daffodil Delight – 11″ x 4 ¼”, scored and folded at 5 ½”
- Basic Black Flash Card – 2 ¾” x 4 ¼”
- Whisper White Flash Card – 2 ½” x 4″

Here in the USA, this is a long weekend — Memorial Day weekend! Do you have big plans? You would think we would be camping but we have LOTS going on this weekend so it didn’t work out. Ginny will be singing at the high school graduation on Saturday and then on Sunday, we are heading back to Tulsa to see a musical I have wanted to see since I saw it on the Tony Awards — “Something Rotten“. A comedy set in the 1590’s, “Something Rotten” is the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brother who are desperately trying to write a hit play. Their arch nemesis, Will Shakespeare, seems to get all the lime light but with the help of a fortune teller, they write the world’s first musical, “Omelet“.
I am really looking forward to this show but you guys know how much I LOVE musicals. I know this will be a favorite of mine. The music is on my phone and it’s my go-to music when I go on walks.
I hope that everyone has a fabulous weekend! I am looking forward to stamping with you on Monday!

Aww, thank you Kathy!
I am forever amazed at what you come up with!! As you were going on I thought but we need more black and white and then it dawned on me that you were going to cut it all out of the two pieces and cover it up. I can never think to do that!! You are so smart!
Yep, it’s a little trick but it sure worked! Just have to get all we can out of that Flash Card piece. 🙂
Thank you for the emails I just received…this one has the video. I went back to my original email and it still has no video, just a big blank area where I believe it should be but now I can watch it. Thank you again.
Love today’s card!! Love everything about your posts, great cards, great tips, and your bubbly personality! Forget those rude people from the other day, and keep on doing your thing! I think you are a flash card genius! Enjoy the holiday weekend.
That’s my plan, Patty! I am just going to let it go and keep on doing what I love to do. No one can stop me from doing that. 🙂
Love today’s card BUT don’t see any video
Hmmm, I can see it in the post. Not sure why you aren’t seeing it. Here is the link that will take you to YouTube. https://youtu.be/ZeaAyhtVyDs
Daffodil Delight is one of my favorite yellow shades from Stampin’ Up! and combined with Basic Black is a knock out!!
Beautiful card and awesome video as always Connie, it’s always a joy to see you creating this amazing Flash Cards.
Hugs,

a truly different look and style. Like Evelyn, as you were telling us what cardstock would be needed, I was thinking that you forgot to tell us we would need two of each of the flash card pieces. But O contrae – you surprised us. This one goes into my layout file.
Such a happy card. Love how you used the framelits dies. So cleaver
Thank you
What you can do with two small pieces of paper absolutely amazes me. Your cards are fantastic. You definitely have an eye for color and design. Thanks for sharing.
