Wednesday I shared a Flash Card Mash Up video and it really inspired me to create another card with the same layout. It was always a favorite of mine and I wanted to get my hands inky!
This time I created a sympathy card using the Touches of Texture stamp set (sentiment is from Better Together).
I love the softness of this card and I really love the unique fold.
Let me share the video for today’s FLASH CARD MASH UP
Here are my measurements in case you missed them.
- Soft Sky – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 1″ and 4 ¼”
- So Saffron Flash Card 2.0 – 2 ⅛” x 5 ½”, cut to 1″ x 5 ½”
- Vanilla Flash Card – 2 ½” x 4″

Do you have big weekend plans??? The Stewarts are heading out to Tulsa, OK for the Kristin Chenoweth concert. We are SO excited! She is premiering her “Love Letters to Broadway” show before she takes it to New York. This will be Ginny’s first time meeting her before she attends the Broadway Bootcamp this summer. Ginny gets to sit in on the sound check and all the kids get to be on stage while Kristin sings to them during the show. Kristin is very big into giving back to Oklahoma. I so appreciate that about her. She is such a giving person. I’m kinda jealous that Ginny gets to rub elbows with the rich and famous.
Sadly, it’s going to be a quick trip though. We will have to drive home (2 hours) after the concert because Christina is on call on Sunday for the last time this semester. She moved home MONDAY! Wahoo! I’m excited to have her home for a little while.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! See ya back here on Monday for a Make It Monday tutorial!

Connie, that is indeed a gorgeous and soft Sympathy card but, like you said, it can easily be changed to any occasion by changing the sentiment and the colors.
This stamp set is amazing, love all the different stamps in it.
