I recently learned how to take an acetate card box and convert it to hold note cards & envelopes. I have always found the best gifts to be hand-stamped cards. These make a great teacher or co-worker gift too.

Get creative with your favorite colors and stamps. This box can hold up to 6 note cards & envelopes. I suggest keeping the embellishments to a minimum and don’t use Stampin’ Dimensionals on the cards (I used them on the Belly Band for some great POP of fun).

How to make a gift card box with a bold sentiment on the cover.

  • Acetate Box Insert  – 5 ¾” x 7 7/8″, score at 3/8″, 7/8″, 1 ¼”, 1 ¾”, 6 1/8″, 6 5/8″, 7″ and 7 ½”
  • Acetate Box Belly Band – 2 ½” x 11″, score at 2 ½”, 3 ¼”, 7 ¾”, and 8 ½”
            • Pool Party – 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”
            • Basic White – 2 ¾” x 8 ½” (sentiment, flower, leaves)
            • Adhesive Sheet – 2 ¾” x 3 ¼”
  • Colored Cardstock – (6) 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” (Highland Heather, Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight)
  • Basic White – (6) 2 ½” x 4″
