Today I want to share how to make a thank you card with gorgeous florals | Flash Card 2.0. I started out creating something totally different but this is what it turned out to be — A thousand times better than what was in my head! Don’t you love happy mistakes?

See what I mean? This card is just gorgeous! Clean, simple, elegant, and created with just those 2 little pieces of cardstock.

Oh Stampin’ Blends! How I adore them! Did you see in the video how easy they are to color with. I literally just scribbled the color on. What’s not to love about that?
Let’s not forget the inside. I decided to use that remaining piece of white that I cut from the Flash Card 2.0. I don’t waste anything!
- Soft Sea Foam – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Purple Posy – 2 ⅛” x 5 ½” – cut ½” x 5 ½” and 1 ¼” x 5 ½”
- Whisper White – 2″ x 5 ⅜” – cut to 2″ x 3 ¼”

What a whirlwind it’s been since coming home from our trip to Greece! The jet lag has been hard and I am working to catch up to phone calls and emails (please be patient with me if you haven’t heard from me yet).
We had a marvelous time on the ship, Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas. I didn’t venture off the ship much due to the heat but I enjoyed the pool. So relaxing! You know, it dawned on me there are two types of vacationers – those who like to go go go and see everything they can and those that like to relax. I was in need of some relaxation. That is what I got and it was wonderful! I could see Santorini from the ship and it was gorgeous. Mr. Awesome ventured out and explored it with a friend though. We did enjoy a tour of Athens. I won’t bore you with pictures but it was really cool to see the Parthenon, built in 438 BC. I think I can officially say that was the oldest thing I have ever seen in my life.
I think the best part of the Stampin’ Up trips is meeting other demonstrators from all over the world. Our table mates were from Georgia, France, the UK, and Arkansas – what a mix! We would close the dining room down every night and they would all but kick us out. Hey, when you’re enjoying the company, why leave?
We arrived home late Sunday and Monday was a blur. 28 hours of travel will do that to you. I had to get over the jet lag quickly though because Ginny’s college orientation was Wednesday… all day. WOW Oklahoma University is a BIG campus. We got lost trying to find Ginny after registration. lol She is all registered and ready. We saw her dorm room (it’s going to be so cute). She was assigned her roommate so they have been chatting through texts like crazy. Move in is less than a month away so we have a lot to do before then. I was doing okay until we took the lunch break and Rich and I could just talk to Ginny about everything she heard and saw that morning. That’s when I lost it and started to cry. Dag nabit! I wanted to get through it without the waterworks!
She is going to thrive at OU but it’s still so overwhelming. Over 30,000 students attend Oklahoma University so how can you not be overwhelmed. I’m so glad that we will be a short drive away though. I have no doubt Ginny will come home often. Not to see us, but her dogs. lol
I hope that you were inspired by today’s video. I can’t say enough about the Bloom & Grow bundle. It’s just amazing and there is so much you can create with it.

So glad you had a great vacation……I learnt a long time ago that when you vacation be sure to book vacation time to recover from your vacation….silly but true. Ginny did a wonderful job and is so sweet… very good job Ginny!….I did see some similarities between you and your mom…., and that’s a good thing.
