Today’s MAKE IT IN MINUTES card is one that I really enjoyed creating. And, get this… it’s a “2 for 1” card! When you cut the Designer Paper, you have pieces to make 2 cards. Love that!
I love the fall colors and those acorns are totally adorable. This is a great card for the guys too!
You will really love learning how to use that background layer to punch out the acorns. I love to save paper and I know you guys do to.
Here the measurements in case you missed them:
- Delightful Dijon – (2) 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
- Very Vanilla – (2) 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”
- Designer Series Paper – 6″ x 6″ (see cutting below)
- Gold Twine – (2) 32″
To cut the Designer Series Paper:
- Cut 1″ off (leaving 6″ x 5″)
- Cut 1″ off (leaving 6″ x 4″)
- Rotate and cut at 3″ (you will have 2 pieces 3″ x 4″)
- Cut the 1″ x 6″ pieces to 1″ x 5 ½”
Here are the items you will need to create my Acorny Grateful 2 for 1 card. To order, just click the pic!
I’m having a great visit with my friends. Don’t you love it when you get together with a friend you haven’t seen in months and months and you STILL have lots to talk about? We did a little Christmas shopping yesterday at an amazing place called North Pole City. Christmas exploded in this store! It’s beautiful and we had fun just oohing and ahhing over all the gorgeous displays. We laughed way too much (and I’m kinda surprised they didn’t kick us out – lol)
It sure has me excited to put up my Christmas tree!!! Anyone else ready? C’mon, Halloween is over. We can put up the tree now, right?
Well, that is all for me today. Hope everyone is having a great week! I have another Make It in Minutes video for you tomorrow so I hope you’ll come back!
Have a great day!!!
