So, as I said, it was a busy weekend for us. First of all, we welcomed a new member into our family. My nephew and his wife had their first child, Baby India Noel. She is so precious and we are all so exited to have a baby in the family to love on.
Mr. Awesome worked SO hard this weekend on the office. Check it out! It’s looking really good. His goal was to get my desk done so I could work this week.
His desk? Well, more work to be done there but my desk looks and feels amazing! My new chair is so comfortable and I am sitting up straight at my desk for a change! You don’t realize how much you’ve shlumped over a desk until you have a good chair.
We hope to have the other side done this week. Why? Because it’s almost that dreaded time…. taxes. UGHHHHHH! Oh how I LOATH taxes! It’s not a fun weekend at all but we need to get them done this coming weekend so the desks need to be done this week.
Oh, and I just had to show you this. Sunday morning I got up and stumbled into the kitchen to make my coffee. I hit the button to make a cup and came back to the kitchen to find this…
I put my cup in upside down. I have never laughed so hard in my life! I had tears streaming down my face. What a mess I had to clean up. Then at church, the pastor talked about the top 10 ways you know you drink too much coffee. I just had to show him this. This is a true sign that you need coffee in order to make coffee. Mr. Awesome said maybe he should make it from now on. lol
Well my friends, I am going to start moving stuff into my lovely new space. It sure was nice to type up this blog post in at my new desk. I am LOVING it!

OMGoodness! I also need coffee to make coffee! Hate doing the clean up, but alas, it must be done! Like your office and I hope Mr. Awesome takes time to finish his space too! We did our taxes already and the refunds hit the bank already! State and Federal! Don’t get me wrong…it wasn’t much, but we didn’t have to pay!!!!!!!

Send over Mr. handy man to my house to work on a new craft room for me. Would really love to have a room with lots of cabinets and working area. At my age now, I will be looking to move into a much smaller home.
