Happy happy Monday to all of you! I hope that you had a relaxing weekend. As you prepare to tackle this week, carve out some stamping time for yourself. I have a wonderful Make It Monday project to share and it’s easier than you think. I call it my Birthday Bookmark Card. See that focal image there? It’s actually a bookmark!

I am using up the last of my Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love the silver metallic edging on all the flowers of this DSP.

I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day weekend. We spent our weekend camping…. well, working and camping. Mr. Awesome did some more repairs as we get this RV all set up for Christina. I made 100 wedding invitations for my niece. I still have 50 to go but I’m getting close. I will share those with you later this week. They turned out so pretty!
Ginny and her boyfriend came up to the campsite on Saturday. We had a campfire, roasted marshmallows and made S’Mores. My S’More tip for you…. instead of graham crackers and chocolate bars, use Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies. It works great and less messy.
We also introduced the boyfriend to roasted Starburst. These are the BEST thing ever! Just unwrap a Starbust and put it on your roasting stick. Roast it slowly and JUST as you see it starting to melt, stop. Let it cool for at least 60 seconds or you will burn yourself (don’t ask me how I know this). Enjoy. It’s like nothing you’ve ever had before!
I did enjoy my Mother’s Day just relaxing and playing some games on my new iPad. Thanks Mr. Awesome!!! I love it!

This is a great idea for using up scraps of card and DSP that may not be big enough for a card. I think I will make some Christmas cards using this idea as I like to add a little ‘gift’ to my cards. Thanks so much!
