WOW!  What a fantastic weekend we had!  Saturday night was the Kristin Chenoweth concert in Tulsa.  You may remember that Ginny will be attending her Broadway Boot Camp next month.  Kristin wanted to meet the teens ahead of time so she invited them to her sound check and asked them to join her on stage at the concert too.

This is only half of the kids (the other entered from the opposite side of the stage).  That’s Ginny in the back on the left.  She was SO excited to be a part of this night!  

The show was titled, “My Love Letter to Broadway” and I loved every song she sang.  Mostly show tunes including, “Popular” (Wicked), “Bring Him Home” (Les Miz), and a song she wrote for the show, “I’m Not a Diva”.  Here she is singing it, with scepter in hand.  It was hilarious!

While the kids were at the sound check, she talked about some of the “stars” that are going to be at the Boot Camp and although I can’t tell you (sorry) Christina and I SCREAMED when she told us one of the names.  She is a Tony Award winner and one of my favorites!!!  I still can’t believe Ginny will get to work with “her”.  They also said there are bigger names but they can’t say who yet.  Wait?  Bigger???  I am dying…. and I’m not even going to get to go.  I am so jealous of Ginny right now.

Sunday Mr. Awesome and I headed over to the camper to start loading all our stuff back in.  We are planning on camping this weekend (finally) so we had a couple of repairs to do.  Loading the camper is always tough.  I forgot to make a list of what I pulled OUT of camper at the end of the season.  Stupid thing on my part and I am now paying the price.  I NOW have a nice list going so this won’t happen again.  Can’t wait to head out on Friday!!  First thing packed in the camper?  A couple of Paper Pumpkin kits!  I have to do some stamping while I’m camping!

Well my friends, thank you so much for joining me today!  I hope you enjoyed the Make It Monday project today.  I have to run.  Today is “Move Out” day at Christina’s college.  Time to bring my girl back home!
