Happy Monday my friends!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I was away for half the week and I am anxious to get back in my stamp room and create.  Today’s MAKE IT MONDAY project is a great one if you’re feeling the same way.  It’s so bright and cheery!  We had a ton of rain and hail this past week so I thought this card was perfect.  I know some of you from neighboring states experiences the same icky weather.  I hope this cheers you up!

Here’s an idea….create a file in your “Documents” on your computer and call it MAKE IT MONDAY so you can always find the downloads whenever you need them.  Or, you can always search the Categories (left side bar) and click on Make It Monday.  You will see all of them in one place.

I had an absolutely marvelous time on my Girls Road Trip to visit family in Iowa!  We stayed behind the bad weather the whole way there.  Had some rain but I can deal with rain.  Tornadoes?  Nope, I don’t want to be in a car in a tornado warning but luckily no warnings, just watches.  Trust me….we WATCHED a lot!

My mom, sister and I visited some family that I hadn’t seen in years and who knew I would come home with a new best friend.  My cousin Denise and I chatted like we knew each other forever.  She shares my love of stamping so we had LOTS to talk about.  Her stamp room was so organized and set up perfectly for her to work in.  Bless her heart, because she follows my blog she even catered to my diet… sugar-free dessert and all.  Now that is a fabulous woman!  It was great to see my Aunt Alice and my other cousin, Patti and just catch up and check out old pictures together.

Our last day we visited my Mom’s bestie from childhood.  I love visiting Molly because she tells me the “real” stories of what my mom was like when she was a kid.  lol

A great time was had but I am ready to get back to work.  So much going on at the beginning of the month so it’s back to work for me but thank you for giving me a little time to go hang out with my family for a few days last week.  It was just what I needed!
